About Us
Deanna brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and operational leadership to healthcare organizations. With a clinical background in Speech-Language Pathology, she transitioned into management in 2012, beginning at The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, where she supported therapeutic services in the NICU.
She went on to build and maintain a pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders program at Therapy 2000, serving simultaneously as Clinical Manager. Her passion for developing employees’ skill sets led to her promotion as Division Director, where she streamlined processes, mentored new managers, and launched initiatives to strengthen business practices.
Deanna earned her Master of Health Administration in 2020, completing internships at Medical Center ENT and later with the Medicaid/CHIP division of the Texas Health & Human Services Commission. She remained as the Training Specialist for Managed Care Utilization Review before returning to the healthcare setting to establish the Maternal and Fetal Care Centers at Dell Children’s Medical Center. Most recently, she supported CommUnity Care in Austin, ensuring quality healthcare access for marginalized populations.
Today, Deanna practices as a contracted healthcare consultant, leveraging her expertise in compliance, human resources, and operational strategy. She is privileged to collaborate with diverse professionals and takes pride in matching client needs with the right consultants to achieve optimal outcomes.
Rosanna Moreno joined UTMB Angleton Danbury campus as the Administrator and Associate Chief Nursing Officer in August 2025. She has extensive experience in both nursing and executive leadership. Prior to joining UTMB, Rosanna served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Clinical Officer at Kindred Hospital Clear Lake, where she led the team to achieve the Platinum Award for Quality, the organization’s highest honor, for two consecutive years (2023 and 2024).
Her career also includes key leadership positions at HCA Clear Lake, The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.
Rosanna holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Boise State University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston–Clear Lake, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UTMB Galveston. She serves as an adjunct faculty member for Boise State University’s DNP program and enjoys teaching aspiring nursing leaders.
She works with our team as an executive leadership coach and believes great healthcare starts with kindness, teamwork, and caring for others like family. Outside of work, she is surrounded by family and enjoys spending time outdoors walking with her rescue dog, Winnie.
